Quality Engineer, Stryker Endoscopy
Creighton Petty studied bioengineering at the University of Utah and received his bachelor’s degree in 2011. As an undergrad, he did research in a neural interface laboratory for two years and then worked as a research and development engineer at two medical device companies: Fruition Design and Biomerics. After graduation, Creighton moved to Baltimore, Maryland, to study biomedical engineering innovation and design at Johns Hopkins University. He received his master’s degree in 2012.
Soon after completing his graduate studies, Creighton accepted a position as a quality engineer for orthopedic and general surgery products at Stryker Endoscopy in San Jose. When not engaged in biotechnology work, Creighton loves to travel; he has backpacked through parts of Central America, South America, Europe, and Ethiopia. He also enjoys active sports, reading, learning about the universe we live in, and spending time with his wife.
